What do you get when you cross a set of Magnatiles with a few sheets of notebook paper, a bunch of vocabulary words, and a STEAM lab full of CREATIVE kids? A tabletop obstacle course with a language arts twist! Green screening requires videotaping. Videotaping requires script writing. And script writing requires a command of a variety of vocabulary words to draw from. So students in grades 2-5 STEAM-ified the writing process last week with an exciting habitat word choice game they built themselves! Fun learning for sure! Now that we’re equipped to polish our scripts, we’re ready to become green-screen celebrities.
