For their biomimicry challenge, our first graders were tasked with designing and constructing a solution inspired by a plant. Their mission? To create a floating city that could support at least 12 building blocks. Everyone succeeded at modeling their creation after the adaptations of water lily and giant kelp plants. How cool is that?
